In summer, the air around Lytton is filled with the unmistakable spicy scent of sagebrush. It is a plant of the desert, rugged and strong.

Dried sagebrush holds its scent well. Keep it where you can easily rub it between your fingers, releasing the odor, freshening the air. We use it in an intention bowl for our mindfulness practice.

Sagebrush – Kéwkʷu, "far from water" – is important to the Nlaka'pamux people for smudging and other ceremonial uses.

Wild-harvested near Lytton. Packaged using recycled paper and a plant-based compostable clear bag.
