An online community celebrating local artisans
When the fire destroyed the village of Lytton and part of Lytton First Nation on June 30, the whole community faced devastating loss.
The artists, artisans and farmers who had their work at Klowa lost hundreds of hours of their work when it went up in flames. We lost homes, businesses, and life as we knew it.
Still, the fire didn’t vanquish us. In the area around Lytton, and in those places where its residents have been scattered since the fire, Lyttonites are using the creative process to find their way out of the ashes.
